Gala Concert 17th October

Dominic Smith is a former member of the Youth Orchestra and played a piano concerto with Ian Smith and 2nd orchestra in 1995.

Hi Everyone!

Just a short announcement prior to my next performance in a couple of weeks, where I'll be playing in this year's Malcolm Arnold Festival (www.malcolmarnoldfestival.com)

There's a whole weekend of rare musical treats to be enjoyed at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton (second home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra).

The weekend's events culminate in 'A Night to Remember' at 7.30 pm on Sunday 17th October. The Gala Concert, presented by Worthing Symphony Orchestra and conducted by John Gibbons, will include film works by Arnold, Alwyn, Walton (I'll be playing the piano solo in Arnold's 'Stolen Face'), and finishing with one of the finest works in the repertoire - Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto.
