Dear Student/Parent/Carer

Junior Strings Summer Course: 18–19 May 2013

We are pleased to invite you to the Junior Strings Summer Course, organised by The Bedfordshire Music Trust. The course will run between 18-19 May 2013 at Bedford Modern School, Bedford.

The cost of the Junior Strings Course will be £35. If you/your child would like to attend the course please complete the attached form and return it with the course payment to: Junior Strings Summer Course, Bedfordshire Music Trust, The White House, Odell Road, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, MK44 1JL. Cheques should be made payable to Bedfordshire Music Trust. (Please note we are unable to re-imburse your course fee if you cancel within two weeks of the start date of, or during, the course).

Should you/your child be unable to attend a course this time but would like to be invited to future events please still complete and return the attached form. All communications will be via email so please ensure you write clearly your up-to-date email address. For those who may have difficulties with transport we are running a car share scheme. Please indicate on the form if you would like help with transport. We will then be in contact with you around 2 weeks before the course starts to provide you with details of parents in your locality who have signed up for the scheme and who might be able to help with transport. If you are travelling to the course by car and do not wish to participate in the car sharing scheme please make sure you have ticked the opt-out box on the application form.

Please do book your place as soon as possible so we that we can confirm numbers.

In cases of financial difficulty, the "Friends of Bedfordshire Youth Music" organisation may be able to support your application. The Friends are keen to help all those who might be eligible for financial support to attend the Youth Music courses (for full details, including new grants criteria and submission information, please visit www.fbym.org.uk/grants).

We would be grateful if you would please ensure that you/your child is registered by Friday 3rd May 2013.
